Tips

Visa Application

E-Visa and Visa-On-Arrival are both available for travellers who require Visa. If you already have E-Visa then you can directly go to immigration counters and do not need to queue at Visa-On-Arrival counters.

Level of Expenses

Prices rise after the rapid boost in tourism industry, despite this it is still very much cheaper compared to developed Asian countries like China, Singapore, Korea and Japan. To stay in Vietnam, backpacker hostel can cost you as low as $10 per night, while local boutique hotels vary from $30 to $80, and 5 stars hotel from $200 onwards. Local food is affordable, local beer at $1 and mineral water at $1.50. If you go to a decent or finer restaurant, the bill will pretty much the same as you have it in other big cities.
